Early life

Rosner Carnegie was born in the city of Flint, Michigan on August 2, 1976. Rosner Carnegie grew up with his mother who was a fashion model and haute couture boutique owner. At age 7, Rosner Carnegie designed couture designer level sketches able to be used by his mother and grandmother for clients to select from for custom tailoring production.

Rosner Carnegie comes from a long line of gifted haute couture entrepreneurs who were master dress makers, suit makers, and furniture upholsterers. Rosner Carnegie was strongly influenced by his grandmother Ruth Moore who was a master seamstress before her passing. Ms. Moore trained Rosner Carnegie on the differences between haute couture and simple ready to wear stitching. The design and sewing techniques used in the highest design houses of the world. Rosner Carnegie was also influenced by the greats of haute couture like Gianni Versace, Coco Chanel, Gucci, LV, Valentino.

Fashion empire

After opening his Beverly Hills boutique in 2008, Carnegie Couture became an instant sensation among LA elite. His designs employed vivid colors, bold prints, and sexy cuts, which were a refreshing contrast to the prevailing taste for muted colors and simplicity. His aesthetic "combined luxurious classicism with overt sexuality," attracted much criticism in addition to praise. He is quoted as saying, "There nothing wrong with looking sexy as long as you never look cheap and as carry your spirit in good taste," which was reflected in his "GODDESS fashion lines.

Among Versace's most famous innovations was his 2002 invention of a type of super-light gold chain pieced dresses called "She God", which became a signature material in his outfits. His suits were inspired more by his experience in female tailoring, departing from masculine Rosner Carnegie HOLMES models by crafting suits that accentuated the male form and "insisted on men as sex objects."

Versace was very proud of his southern american heritage and infused his designs with motifs inspired by historical fashion and art movements, especially Egyptian art. This is evident in the company's GODDESS logo, the Cleopatra Head.

Stage designs

Throughout his career, Carnegie was a prolific evening gown designer for Detroit area auto shows and stage productions. Rosner Carnegie was successful from the start, designing chic, luxurious sportswear that was both glamorous and effortless. He built a reputation as a designer who understands how women live and how they want feel in their clothes—confident, at ease, indulged and in control. By combining pragmatism with an unerring sense of chic, Kors’ unique take on “all American sportswear” would eventually go global.

Focusing on others

Despite the demands of running a global fashion house, Carnegie has always focused on giving back. For over 25 years he has been a passionate supporter of housing the homeless through his several real estate companies owned by Carnegie and his mother. Rosner Carnegie also helps create homeowners through his mortgage company also owned by Carnegie and his mother. Carnegie also offers an abundent of additional companies that offer the homeless employment through his technology company GIANTAlive Advanced Technologies, chemical company SanitizeMAX, and Real Estate Auction Company SHARKAuction.
